Advances in Micro and Nano-scale Positioning Systems at IEEE Advanced Intelligent Mechatronics, Besançon, France, July 8-11, 2014

Despite the success of scanning probe and micro-scale systems, limitations still exist in terms of precision, operating speed, and reliability. Two invited sessions are proposed that will focus on novel mechanism design, advanced modeling techniques and control-related problems for micro and nano scale positioning systems.

These sessions are co-organized by the Precision Mechatronics Lab and the FEMTO-ST Institute, University of Franche-Comté, France.

Submissions are open until the 25th of February, 2014. For participation details, please contact one of the organizers: Micky Rakotondrabe (FEMTO-ST), Andrew Fleming (Precision Mechatronics Lab), or Yuen Kuan Yong (University of Newcastle).
